I initially posted this look on Instagram, intending to just post it on Instagram. But it seemed like there were so many of you encouraging a blog post- so here! This outfit definitely was fun to rock, even though it brought up some of my insecurities. Aside from this look, I’m also going to share a quick story about my insecurities.

For me, my physical appearance was always made fun of. People called me “ugly”, “horse face” and “gross” when talking about the way I look. This started in the 3rd grade and continues to this day. Fortunately and unfortunately, the internet gives everyone a voice. It’s amazing because it allows us to connect to so many wonderful people, but it at the same time it separates us. The internet is the fastest growing form of verbal abuse, bullying and the number source of external insecurity.

I’ve worked with clients who were encouraged to continue unhealthy bodily harm and were bullied incessantly. This is an ongoing issue and only we can make a difference. Like these clients (mainly children), I get negative comments on my blog and Instagram all the time. It’s very easy to read into it and let it consume your mind. We are exposed to so much on the internet that it makes us overwhelmed.

One of my biggest insecurities is my face. I’ve always been made fun of for it. I have one eye that turns in slightly, a crooked smile and a very long face. This to me is ME. I’ve learned to accept the things I can’t change and just accept who I am; flaws and all. It’s important for us to spread positive vibes across the board. If you don’t like something about someone’s physical appearance, personality, or general self, don’t tell them. It’s not your place to judge someone else. You never know how that person feels that day if they are going through a bad time or good time.

Another reason I bring this up is that almost every month a few comments about me getting implants, needing implants, photoshopping my boobs will come. I don’t have implants, I don’t want them, and I don’t photoshop my boobs. It’s the Victoria’s Secret. I’m an A cup. With this bra, I’m a full C or something…just look at today’s post. Makes a huge difference. You’re welcome!

Words hurt. And will continue to hurt. Encourage people. Love people. Support people. We are all one.

Anyhow, let’s talk about this nude bodysuit. I’m obsessed and have worn with it practically everything in my closet It’s so soft and comfortable and is a great basic to have in your wardrobe. For this look, I went a little retro with it with half up-half down hair, denim shorts and some tan mules. I wanted this to be a super easy look to rock in summertime. Yes, this was taken awhile ago (okay like a month ago, L.A recently got cold).

The beauty of this nude bodysuit is that you can truly sport it with anything. You can wear your denim, a pair of black slacks, a skirt, even joggers and this piece will take you places. I am seriously so smitten with top it actually has holes in it. Don’t judge me. It’s sold out now, but here are some alternative options (some I bought myself)
